Fire Extinguisher Servicing in Newcastle

Every fire extinguisher in your workplace must be visually inspected monthly by the Responsible Person and serviced annually by a competent third-party technician under BS 5306-3. Our engineers, trained and working to BS 5306-3, carry out the annual basic service for water, foam, CO2, powder and wet chemical extinguishers, plus the extended service (every 5 years for water/foam/powder) and overhaul (every 10 years for CO2) required by the standard. We supply Kitemarked Britannia, Commander and Gloria extinguishers, selecting the correct media for each risk under BS 5306-8 — Class A (carbonaceous), B (flammable liquids), C (gas), D (metals), F (cooking oils), and electrical equipment. We also fit signage to BS EN ISO 7010 and provide tamper seals, ID labels and traceable service records. After each visit we issue a service certificate, a discrepancy report listing any extinguishers requiring replacement or overhaul, and update your fire safety log book.
